Former defender Jamie Carragher has revealed Liverpool still have room for improvement this summer after their 2-1 Carabao Cup final defeat to Newcastle on Sunday.

The Magpies scored twice in this game through Dan Burn and Alexander Isak, while the Reds pulled one back in stoppage time through Federico Chiesa, another disappointment after their recent elimination from the UEFA Champions League.
Carragher told Ufabet Sports after the คาสิโนออนไลน์ UFABET ฝากถอนรวดเร็ว เริ่มต้นเล่นง่าย game at Wembley: “It was probably one of the worst performances I’ve seen from Liverpool in a cup final but they gave it their all and they’ve only lost one league game this season. It’s hard to be too critical but it shows where Liverpool need to improve.”
“The pace in attack is clearly missing. I feel for Mohamed Salah, he was knock out of the game against PSG and he didn’t do well today, but he didn’t have the help of the other forwards.”
“Last week showed what they want this summer. It’s exciting because Liverpool are about to win the league and they still need to improve in some areas.”
Carragher is absolutely spot on with his analysis about the Liverpool squad.
If Salah does not score a goal, it is hard to imagine which other attacker would inspire the team and bail them out.
The Egyptian has been their best player this season but he is bound to have some off days. However, he chose the worst time to have an off day for his team.
